At a time when your job is about to disappear you will no doubt worry about meeting legal costs. The good news is that your employer nearly always makes a contribution to our costs, which they pay directly to us and this is usually set out in the compromise agreement. So, most of the time, you will not have to pay anything personally. In more complex cases, the employer may cover some or all of the additional costs and this will be included in your severance package. In any event we will tell you about costs from day one and keep you updated at each step of the process so that you are kept fully informed.
